Questions about this template

Should materials be one line or itemised?

Itemise anything the client is likely to compare or supply themselves. A single materials line hides the reason for the price and invites renegotiation.

How do I price variations?

Quote the package as drawn, then state that changes are priced separately at the same rates. The template carries that sentence in its terms.

Is a construction quotation the same as an estimate?

No. An estimate is an approximate price before the scope is fixed. A quotation is a fixed offer against defined work, which is what this template produces.

Can I add a payment schedule?

Yes. Use the payment terms section to set stage payments, for example deposit on order, a stage payment at first fix and the balance on completion.
