Questions about this template

Should paint be on the invoice?

If you supplied it, yes. It also shows the client what was used if they want to touch up later.

How do I bill extra coats?

As a line per room, referencing the reason, such as a colour change.

Can I invoice by day rate?

Yes, when the scope was open-ended. A day rate invoice should show the days and the work completed.

What about paint left with the client?

Note it. Leaving labelled tins is good practice and worth recording.
