Charge it and say so. If you waive it when the repair goes ahead, state that condition on the quote rather than leaving it unexplained.

How do I quote parts?

Name the part and its condition. Customers compare prices online, so an unnamed part looks like an inflated line.

What if more faults appear?

State that additional work needs approval before it proceeds, and give the hourly rate that will apply.

Can I quote a service and a repair together?

Yes, as separate sections, so the customer can approve one without the other.
