Photography Invoice Template

Free photography invoice template with a working editor, live totals and PDF, Word or Excel downloads.

Photography invoices should separate the shoot from the licence. This template does that, so an extended licence is a priced change rather than a favour.

Questions about this template

Should the licence be on the invoice?

Yes. It reminds the client what they bought and makes an extension straightforward to price.

How do I bill extra images?

As a line at the agreed per-image rate, with the number stated.

Do I charge VAT on licences?

Usually the same treatment as the service. Check the local rules and set the rate per line.

Can I invoice a deposit and a balance?

Yes. Use two invoices; the balance invoice can show the deposit as paid.
